Use uniballs. They use them in off road applications. They have a larger range of "bind-free" motion, and they last longer.

Does anyone know if they are strong enough or made for lower ball joint applications? More specifically, a Chevy fullsize 1/2 ton(c-1500)?

Steve O. I don't know exactly where to get them. I used to live in San Diego and most off road shops carried them. I just googled Uniballs to get that pic. There are distributors that have them. I don't think they make specific applications either. You have to get custom with the arm tips.

You are in Turlock? Is there an Off Road Wharehouse near you? They have them in stock there.

the piece thats in the middle on the box goes into the collar. The collar is welded to the arm already(have to press it in). Its all held together with a ring on top. but thats how much you can go before they start to bind.

There are a bunch of different styles. Are the ones you (eks 10BDRG-N) are talkin about look like this?

This is the basics of a uniball.[Socket- Ball- Retainer clip] The pic I posted earlier was a little mor assembled or fabbed.

YEAH! Thats it. I couldn't find them in between. They read somewhere (probably minitruckin) that they have like 35 degrees of motion and ball joints have 28 degrees. And they look way cooler.
