Well if it wasn't for friends like I have I would not have a truck...I am a really good gopher...I suck at welding...I suck at cutting...and I have no idea about geometry....I see nothing wrong with buying a truck. who cares...If I could afford a cover truck...you're absolutely right i'd rock the shit out of it...just my two cents...

i bought my truck already built. its not show worthy but it was built by someone else. the reason i bought mine already built was to learn from it. im now trying to sell it and build one from the ground up. i cant weld at all but the next truck i own im gunna be there to watch and learn any and everything i can from the frame up. but i do see what your saying, i wouldnt want to buy a completed show truck and then turn around and show it. whether or not i was giving the builder credit or not id still feel weird driving/showing it.

i guess you just get so into doing it yourself that you overlook the fact that alot of people cant do the things needed to build a ride....sorry....i didnt want to seem negative towards anyone with my post

i definitely feel what your saying id rather build my own show vehicle... but im not gonna lie theres been times where i was like damn it would be nice to have a bagd and bd yota right now instead of a few months from now lol. but i just hate to wait for shit i want it done right away. but at the end of it all its great seeing pics of your vehicle from stock to finish.thats why im rebuilding a dream that i sold. what i dont understand is how can you build a show vehicle and just let it sit in the garage till the next show... all my rides have to be dailys if not daily at least weekend runners....

Who cares! Ive never bought anybodys truck, but that kinda attitude makes our type of trucks from selling at good prices. You can find bagged trucks around here cheap all the time. And what about the person who wants to get into the scene but has no friends or skills to do the work. Why give him shit let the guy drag with us, he will eventually break it and have to fix it. He will learn and soon be building his own truck like FatboyS10

I sold my old yota to a good friend of mine. He bought it because he doesnt have any clue on how to build one and didnt want to pay an assload of money to a shop to build it for him. I dont see anything wrong with buyin a truck/car thats already done. If that persons wants to take that ride and show it just like the previous owner had it, more power to them. The line gets crossed when the new owner claims that they did all the work.

i know what you mean that built is better than bought so you can feel like you accomplished something and that its truly yours, but as its been said, not everybody has a shop, some of us are just lucky enough to have the skills/equipment to do stuff
