not trying to beat a dead horse or anything, but rev is wrong in a physics point of view.
but as with anything, a wrong design can be done well, making adverse afects miniscule.
on the flip, a correct design can be done poorly creating negative affects.
so, do what you like. as long as you take your time and set up the links properly, etc etc, you should have a decent riding setup. but i stick to my belief of forward=correct and reverse=incorrect. and a 50/50...well, those are just retarded and invented by a moron. (my opinion, no flaming needed)
also, usually the only time youll see something like the driveshaft pull out of a rev setup is when you put the bags on the bars and get an insane amount of lift.

To say that its NOT is retarded. Its the wrong way to install a 4-link, everyone knows it is, but it holds the axle under the truck, and thats a good enough reason to use it for most people, same reason we have 2-links and 50/50 links. How there are reverse 4-links that are worse than others with uneven bar lengths and bar spacing making the pinion angle bad, but even ones like the Cando kit are still wrong, theyre on backwards!Yes of course the axle will pull away from the cab, possibly pulling the driveshaft out in extreme cases, the pivot point is behind it by the bumper.
As for your mazda, why do you have to put the lower bars inside the frame? Ive had a mazda and I know theres enough room to put them under the frame. Run two lowers, a single upper and a panhard or watts link and you wont have to move anthing.
I have a reverse 4 link on my truck and the only real problem is wheel hop. Other than that everything seems fine and I drive my truck everyday. However, I personally wouldn't install a new one, but it's how the truck was already setup when I bought it so I didn't have a choice.
well then y does all of the trucks from bullocks body works have reverse 4 links????????? thats one thing that turns me off from a clean ass truck isa reverse 4 link....
