Ok well i had a 87 2200 with a auto tranny i pulled the engine and trannt before it went to the salvage yard, harness, ecm and a few misc things well the only thing i didnt grab was the auto tranny crossmember now my 86 2200's manual tranny is done and the motor needs a rebild so i decided to swap in my 87's motor and tranny i went and grabbed the tranny off my friends parts truck (lucky for me he had a auto)i bolt it up and my tranny is about 2 inches short from going into the crossmember the tranny crossmember came out of a 87 2200 LX is there a difference between a LX and a standard 87 i am def lost on this.
