on the bars in front of the axle if you need a lot of lift. on the bars behind the axle if you don't need as much. mine are mounted behind and it lifts decent to me.

The reason a over the axle (cantilever style) is better, is because the more weight you put on the bags the better the ride. When you use an airspring that has a higher weight rating, the bag will have more "bounce back" due to the stiffness it creates by having not enough weight. Unless your using sleeves like, Andy (periportfd), Those have a much lower weight rating, thus a better ride. I put the smallest convoluted bags I could find (conitech) on the front of a 65 ghia because the car is so damn light. If I were to use 2600 firestone style it would be stiffer than a bottle of viagra. Basicly Over the axle is analog Cantilevers are digital.

and i'm a man who enjoys his digital toys...
i want alot of lift out of my bagged vehicle because i wanna be able to raise it up to stock or a little higher and drive up lookin like i got nothing special. then lay it out and watch the jaws drop as fast as my bags.

ok, well im going to be tucking 24s and the setup i am going to put on my ride is rs-72s in the rear with a 4-link with a wishbone "esentully a 5-link.
debating whether to put the bags on bars or over axil, i dont need alot of lift but do like the lift for the same reason as jason fowler, i want to role up stock and lay out custom.

You will get more lift on the bars. I would avoid putting the bags over the axle at all costs. 24's huh? WOW!
