I work in Loss Prevention for a large scale retail company, the best job i've ever had, catch shoplifters, sometimes have to chase and fight and drag them back in, set up cameras in stores and deter employee theft, most plces look for prior experience.

so how do you get experience doing that, i would love to do something like that

My brother and my dad started a house foundation repair company and I moved up working for them and now I run my own crew. Its an awesome job except the part where I dig fucking holes under house footings. Other than that its awesome.

I guess i got lucky i got out of the military as an MP and my boss was in dire need of agents and i sent in my resume at the right time and he trained me in every thing i needed to know. But from what i understand the other way you get into it is by actually working in retail (which sucks) for a company and moving your way up to it. Doesnt pay the greatest only about 2000 a month after taxes but the freedom makes up for it.

I'm in the electrical union in Northern California. Great benefits, I work M-F 7 am to 4:30ish pm, the pay is incredible. I started at 18 an hour. If I need a friday off, they don't care at all. I work indoors climate controlled. Its pretty easy work. As long as you have common electrical knowledge. They train me and I get paid to go to school for it too! Probably the best job you can have.
