Valve Cover question Russ D!

Ok guys I got 2 mazdas, 2 x cabs and a regular cab, Im building 2 of them. I have a 86 mazda b2000 motor and the valve cover says Magnum on it, I have never seen one like it, My friend said all his friends tryed to get it from him when he had it. Question is, is this a special valve cover or just some aftermarket one? Its bored out, has a cam, weber, header, pluds wires and all but still there is nothing magnum about this motor...LOL

its a rare valve cover it is factory but i've only seen a handful of them I don't know what years they came on but if you want to sell it I would be interested in it

its prolly got 87hp versus 84 stock lol.

magnum was a special edition put out by mazda that had pimpin graphics sceme on it and it came with a trojan magnum because you were gonna get all the bitches with your new truck.

I dont know for sure, I know the magnum engine was a special engine in the AU market, supposed to have bigger valves and what not.

I bought a whole Magnum head on ebay because it had that valve cover and I have never ever seen one before, the guy had installed a blazespeed 282 cam and told me his stock bottom truck ran 16.1's with this head, a 38dges and a header, so it doesnt sound like a slouch.

As many times as this has come up though I have never measured the valves in that head, it is still just sitting under my workbench. I put the valve cover on my truck because it was too friggin cool and ever mazda owner for three states is sweating my nuts for the head lol.

Yeah I have had alot of people try to buy this one from me. I like it to much tho.

I got one of those magnum engines one time from a place that imports those "30 thousand mile motors". The engine sat a long time before we tried to fire it, and it didnt run, so i think we round filed it. I had no clue it was rare or wanted. lol

It pretty much sux. I heard they leak really bad too. Also causes high heat build-up between the hood...possibly causing a fire or other damage!!! Send it to me Or Else!!! OK, i'll give you 5 bucks for it. No but seriously bro. Badass find.
