tranny question??? auto to manual

i was just wondering if the tranny mount on a auto truck was different than a manual i am doing a swap and wanna have all the right pieces before i do it and find out after the fact any help would be greatly appreciated oh and i am going from a manual to a auto.

The mount for the auto IS different than the manual trans so make sure that you get grab it from your donor truck.

thanks bro gonna have to go down there before it get towed to the scrap yard or ill be making one lol AND DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO WIRE UP THE OVERDRIVE BUTTON CAN I USE A TOGGLE SWITCH SINCE I DONT HAVE THOSE WIRES ON MY MANUAL HARNESS AND THE ONE IS THE DONER TRUCK WAS CUT OUT BY SOMEONE ELSE????????????????

you dont need the overdrive button unless you just absolutely want it. It wasnt hooked up in my ext cab, and I never needed it, never missed it, never could even think of when I would actually use it.

Its a fairly simple setup though, my guess would be its a simple 12v switch, 12v applied and the tranny is in 3rd, off and it is in 4th.
