I found an automatic 1990 extended cab for a good price. My question is does anyone make a header or intake for that motor. Its the 12 valve 2600. Another question is do all the body parts bed and fenders from 86-93 fit this truck. Thanks

someone mentioned a guy on ebay that sells a custom header, no one mass produces one. The 2200 header will not fit. For intake, most people adapt a 92-95 civic intake, again there is no one that makes one specifically for it. Yes you will have to modify it to make it fit.
Like Rolo said, all 8693 mazda truck body parts interchange, assuming you have the same style truck, ie: long bed truck beds interchange, ext cab beds interchange, std cab beds interchange, all fenders and hoods interchange (basically anything forward of the aft doorjamb).

oh and mind the temp gauge, dont let it run even a little hot... The cylinder head of the B2600i is flawed, and they all crack eventually. Should have been a recall, but an updated casting is available at the dealer, NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS BARE. Yeah, watch that temp gauge.

If that is the case doing a good radiator flush every couple years will be good, also when replacing the head gasket putting a small chamfer (.040" to .060" wide) in the holes for the steam ports, water jackets, and oil port should dramatically help reduce stress risers. Deburring the combustion chambers with some 400 grit sand paper should also help, make sure you don't knick the valves or seats.
Also if the truck shows any signs of detonation find the cause and repair it immediatly. Detonation is always a very serious problem but if the head is known to crack a detonation problem will easily cause one as it puts more stress on the head then overheating alone.
