Extended Cab MT question

Does anyone have pics of Minis w/ seats in the extended cab (not jump seats)? I'm wanting to put some seats in the back for my kids (ages 4 & 1). They won't need much legroom, but I've got to be able to put car seats in it. I've even contacted Katzkin abou their display seats (smaller than reg. seats). I know M.I.C. did a Mazda that was in MT a few years back, but I couldn't find the pics of it and couldn't remember if the cab had been stretched any. Thanks in advance for the help.

might could get someone to fab you up a small rear seat....like a boat seat, and set it up like a small bench, then locate youre seatbelt mounts. Just make sure they are very secure, you obviously like your kids....at least I hope.

Check out some books on upholstery, there should be info in building a seat fram from wood, the covering it...hot rodders used to do this a lot I think.

the rear seat in the purple mazda MIC built was a back seat for a sand rail. i think beard racing seats made it

I talked to Mario @ Stitchcraft yesterday (I think that's who made the seat for M.I.C.) I'm gonna' get some measurements for him, but I think a seat out of a newer Camaro will work since it's narrow, short (keep it under the back window), and the base of it has bucket seats so my glassed console can run through it easily. A lady I work w/ has a Camaro that I'm gonna' get measurements from her seats to see if it will all work or close enough I can make it work. I found an entire black leather interior from a Camaro (front and rear seats) for around $750 yesterday. That's cheaper than making a seat and getting someone to cover it or buying a Katzkin kit. We'll see.

A smart man would just stick a shell on the back, cut a walk-thru, and mount some bus seats for when bubba's kids come to stay.

The Back seat out of Jeep Wranglers!!! My boy cut off the top and the trunk out of his Del Sol and mounted a wrangler rear seat in the trunk. Then went and welded everything else and now has the worlds only Del Sol with a rear seat... Its rough now, but in time it will be phat-nasty

That had been suggested too, but if I can use the Camaro seats I want to since they're already seperated which will work great w/ my center console we're making. Please keep the ideas/suggestions coming.
