Has anyone found a welding helmet wide enough you can run an air respirator?
i use that exact helmet every night at work..takes a beatin and keeps on kickin...lenses are fairly cheap and the batteries last awhile if you sit in the sun for about 8 hours when you first get it then once every month or so if you use it on a regular basis...make sure you get some good thick sweatband cushions though...the one it comes with is fairly flimsy and it tends to compress pretty fast

I want to order it now.. but i dunno lol. Just trying to save some money for once, for christmas and all. i might just use my regular one just until i help another friend bag their truck. been spending too much on our damn snakes, heat pads/thermometers/all thats expensive lol
i got this one from SpeedGlas. its the 9002X model. it has optional side windows that are pretty niffty and come in handy that elminates that tunnle vision. also they dont look like yer normal helmet. which it being different is another reason i bought it
just one I painted for a friend
