They would have sidewalls so that water and dirt/mud doesnt pile up between the spokes and throw them out of balance.

wtf are the ribs made out of to support the weight of a car

do they come in white walls....LOL

i would say tehy are just made out of a hard compound rubber, remember its not just a couple of the bottom ones supporting the weight of the car, but EVERY single one of those ribs holding the weight.
