Cuz I Can whatever happened to it?

Hey guys, one of my favorite mazdas of all time is Derek Veenstras Porsche blue mazda X cab that was the Cover truck in March of 1999. Whatever happened to it. Last time I ever seen pix it was in Texas and I think Frank from ST owned it with z 71s on it.

Was that the one that had plaid seat inserts and sliding rag?

No this one was just a clean little mazda with grey tweed it was supposedly built for under 6500 bucks

Frank (justfrank on here I think) in TX had that truck, I almost bought it a few years after the feature (2001) as a kick around but it didnt have a vin number anywhere on it, and KS will confiscate and crush any vehicle without vin tags. Frank said it ran like poop and the body work was coming through, there wasnt any interior left either, the wheels had been sold. The price reflected the condition, I want to say we haggled around 3k?

That was one of my favorite mazdas too, and why I bought an ext cab.

awesome Russ, thanks for the info. That feature still hangs in the garage along with youre mazdas feature. I got 2 x cabs, the one I am building has a 2.0 block with bigger pistons, a cam, a header, weber carb, accel coil, accel wires, platinum 4 plus and body wise has shaved doors, fenders and wiper cowl.I am gonna paint it porsche riviera blue as well CUZICAN played a major factor in why my mitsu is that color. btw russ long time no talk. Mazda looks good btw!

thanks man, your mazda sounds sweet, I remember when you mistu was just all stock on minitrux.com, and now look at you! My friend Chris just got a Mitsu and will need some pointers, so I'll be looking you up. Yeah sure has been a long time.
