Bumper and Bumper Cover

Hey guys, just wondering if it is possible to use a bumper cover without the bumper. If anyone has one and could tell me if it is neccesary I would appreciate it. I was in a fender bender and I dont want to have to pay for a new stock bumper.

well you can make it work but with no structure behind it very bad idea... if u get hit where that bumper was supppose to be it would cause alot more damage then just buying a stock bumper

the bumper is the structural part in the front, the cover is really just for looks, i would just try to find one used or even aftermarket
