Russ D, need some motor specs...

Posting this for a friend.

He needs specs on block to head clearence or piston clearence. Any min measurements of cylinder length or anything? It's for a 1989 b2200 2.2l.

I don't know all of it off the top of my head but I do keep the spec sheet on me at all times, lol.

Stock Stroke: 3.7 in.
Block Height: 11.87 in
Rod Length: 6.2382

The factory manual doesn't give specs on stock deck clearance or piston compression height but I can tell you that the two combined will be around 1.9308"

i know who to look up when i am ready to build one of my mazda engines. gonna want a little performance. best of all, ken you are only about 50 miles away from me.
