I lay mine out on 2x4's. I would lay it all the way out but with a fiberglass bed I have to keep it off the trailer.

the 2X4's are alright but i prefer to use a cut up tire under the frame on the sides and a piece under the front crossmember. it is alot more cushioned on your ride and 2X4's tend to slide if they are not bolted to the trailer. just the easiest way i have found to do it.

when i trailer mine i leave it up long enough to run the straps through the suspension arms & what not then i lay it out so i can strap it down. Since its a unibody, i can't really strap down the frame, so i strap down the car the best way i can

I strap tires..not wheels tires.
