tucking 18" wheels

i am looking at 18x7.5 wheels w/ +42 offset, i have removed my inner fenders, will a 35 series tire tuck under w/ out messing w/ the firewall, or will it have to be notched for tires to fit????

you mean just layin frame? 215/35/18 will lay fine, its just like the 205/40/17, a common tire on the escalades.

i have done a 2.5" bodydrop.. so do think 18's will fit w/out messing w/ firewall????

umm, i'm also doin a 2.5 inch bd on my mazda and running 18's, now u might have to mess with the firewall abit, i remember back in the day there wqas a mazda around here with a 2.5 or a 3 inch bd running 18's and it was so close he just beat his firewall with a hammer and it fit. I wouldn't suggest using a hammer, but my guess is its just a little bit of modification and it should fit

like i said, if you run a 215/35/18 you will be fine, you'll miss the clutch and firewall layin rocker. now if you step up to say a 225/40/18, you will be hittin the clutch master if its a manual, and rubbin the firewall hard if its bodydropped, otherwise you'd be fine layin frame.

i have 18x8.5 and they barely tuck with no rubbing
