difference in bass?

what would sound better four JL AUDIO 10w3v2 at 500 watts OR one JL AUDIO 13w7 at 1000 watts. reason im asking is because i want to add more passenger space but still keep the bass. opinions please

the 13 cuz your pushing more power and getting it closer to its peak

i work at shop and we deal mostly with jl audio the question you are asking is like comparing a mini truck to rice burner there 2 different things, the w7 is going to be way louder assuming you have the right box and power for the amp and i dont just mean a 1000/1 i mean yellow tops 0 guage battery isolator. w3 wont require as much money to sound right but when you do it right the w7 13s are nasty. the w 3 with give you a nice clean crisp bass and the 500 with match it perfect.

the w3s will be cleaner but you should use a 1000/1 with the w3s as well.
The 13 will hit but the 1000/1 with the w3s will be louder because there will be much more cone surface area. Do not get me wrong, i have 2 10 w7s and they slam but if you have the space, do the 10s

IT ALSO HAS ALOT TO DO WITH BOX SIZE TOO.A PORTED BOX TUNED TO ABOUT 40 HZ SHOULD BE GOOD WITH THE 13W7
