cad program?

thanks steve, that looks like the stuff i want to do. what program did you study in school? is that front suspension a mustang 2?

program is called solidworks. As for school, my major is called "product design", and we study everything involved in the product design process... CAD just happens to be a huge chunk of that. As for the front suspension, it isnt a M2, but its just something i came up with messing around, although very similar to M2.
btw, There is a new autodesk software coming out that is supposed to be badass for modeling, so now is gonna be a good time to go through school.

I know for a fact that solidworks have their own school, a co-worker went there for a week. It is actually a intence traning. Then he moved up to structureworks which is more structure inclined (buildings of different materials like concrete steel wood ect.). After you go thru the training you have a 24/7 help line if you get stuck on something.My job uses it and they are very helpful.

solidworks is a good program, very easy to use...but also has its limitations

hey steve, can you send me the file with that rear clip? I getting a computer @ work with solid works on it. I want to start lernining it.
