Lt1 swap in a 90 chevy

i have a 1990 fullsize w/ the tbi5.7 n 700r4 tranny and was thinkin about doin a lt1 swap. whats all involved in this ?would i have to redo my wiring harness or do i use the new one?would all my gauges still work?any one that has pics or info would help.
