interior lights HELP

can anyone tell me why the lights on my stock cd player/radio in my 98 gmc z71 are going out in certain spots...like the seek button lights dont come on but some of the other radio lights do...is this a bad radio? or is their a bulb i can replace? i dont have the owners manual so im not sure...thanks
