buy rubber caps from your local parts store and put it over the three ports. or you could get an new aircleaner.
go get the little rubber boots for vacuum lines from an autoparts store.
you dont need to do anything to them, just pull the tubes off the air cleaner and install the header.
The tubes are air injection for the stock catalysts (the pre cat gets removed when you install the header) and removing the tubes from the exhaust side will render that valve inop.
Some people pull the whole valve assembly off the factory air cleaner and build a block off plate, others just leave it the way it is. Neither is wrong.
That is not to say that if you replace the factory carb and use the factory exhaust manifold that you can just leave those tubs, hot exhaust air will pulse out of them till you plug them. But removing the factory exhaust manifold for a header will take care of that.
i forgot this was for the exhaust manifold

haha yeah those rubber boots would have lasted all of 30 minutes.
you sold your mazda? s'ok, you can still shake it like a polaroid.
anyone who carries parts through keystone warehouse can get them for you, any a&a auto etc.
