motor mounts???

are the b2000 and b2200 motor mounts the same? im in the middle of a swap and my mounts are not lining up

yup they are the same.

mine wont line up, i took out my b2200 and im dropping in a b2000 with 2200 heads... but i can get one side in and the other side is an inch off.

people say they are the same but we had a time putting one in a friends truck i ended up cutting one of the mounts off modifing it it then we bolted it in

if i get the motor mounts from the b2000 will they fit?

yea they shld fit no problem

nope they are different mounts. I couldnt get mine to line up when i put a 2.0 into my truck. I had to use the stock(2.2) motor mounts on the 2.0 block. but i also had a jap. exchange motor

ok, thats what i thought, only thing that sux, is i pulled my 2200 and someone bought it just as i pulled it, thinking that the motor mounts/everything was the same, so now ill need to find some motor mounts.

my 86 B-2000 swapped with my 89 B-2200 just unbolt them from the frame and pull them out get motor and tranny together then pick up motor/tranny and slide them in place (I believe you can put them in turned around (180 degree not upside down) I think we did that on one once witch threw it off like an inch

well, after it sitting for 2 weeks, i finally took them off the frame, stuck them on the motor and BAM! they worked great... so the only thing i had to swap from my motor to this one was a distributer.
