Swing by a radiator shop with that bxtch homie, just have em boil it out. It'll be slippery clean like a wet pornstar - cheep too!

fill it up with soap and water a couple times, as long as there are no fumes you will be set.

There are always fumes left in a used tank. Get a "T" with shutoffs to each leg from your welding shop (like 20 bucks)and connect it to the regulator. Run one to your welder and the other to a length of tube. Before you weld, run inert gas into the tank like argon. Argon is heavier than air so it will purge (push the air out) of the tank. You can't get an explosion or fire with no air. Use foil to block off holes and don't jet it in there, you don't want turbulence.

i watched cary just soak it and wash it out in soap and water for about a day then work on it.

I just stuck a hose in mine, ran it for about an hour or 2, let it dry out for a few days, then cut away. I guess it worked because i didnt blow up!

Not saying that won't work but I'd rather waste a little argon than my body. Besides, backpurging will keep the inside of the welds shielded, which is a good idea on a gas tank.

purging the tank isnt necessary, just weld the beast up and then use a gastank sealer from eastwood.com to seal the tank.

WOW!....unless you like playing with bombs. wouldnt be better to get a brand new tank to start hacking up? no worries
