james that prob on yer dad's 4door ranger with the door ajar light coming on is because mostlikely when u shut the xcab doors, one of the latches did not latch completely, happens to my 01 all the time, u just have to make sure you shut it hard

yup but only the pass side did it and the 02 has never done it...
