alright i want black 18s with chrome lip...no my truck is inthe process of bein bagged so i need something thats gonna lay on 18s and tuck and blah blah so wut do i nned as far as offset and backspacing and all that shit i dont wanna notch my frame in if i dont have to ..thanks..

18x7 = 5.25 backspace or min +35 offset
18x7.5= 5.5 backspace or min +40 offset
18x8= 5.75 backspace or min +47 offset
do not mix and match these numbers. an 18x8 with +35 will rub.

welcome to owning a mazda. Almost the only companies who make rims with enough offset are the billet companies. There are VERY FEW rims that can be stuffed under a mazda that tucks, even less that fit a mazda with a bodydrop, beside custom billets.
Here is what I tell everyone: You can buy custom billets, around 1600 + tires and wait 3 months to get hem made. They will bolt right on and look awexome. There is about 20-25 styles to choose from.
You could also send your hubs and axles to be redrilled, Mike Brott on ssm does it for around 450 including return shipping. Then ANY wheel made for a fwd car in a 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern will bolt right on. There is about 2500 styles to choose from, chrome, silver, tuner, bling bling, whatever. I have seen 18's and tires as cheap as 600 bucks in local wheel stores, 500 + ship on ebay, so all told you'd have 1000-1100 in a cheap set and could change your wheels out every time you want a new look.
I did it to my last truck, got 17's brand new mounted and balanced for 500 bucks. Thats under a grand total, and looked awesome.
Here is a picture of my 4lug mazda lol. Mike did them and they rode like a million bucks, no wobbles or problems.

Just the ones on MT siteI had a harddrive crash a few years ago and lost everything, all the fun pictures, all the pics of it banana yellow, everything. S'ok. I like my new truck about a thousand times better. Its more fun in primer and facked up; plus its got more cool mods and less "wish I'da done that" stuff.
The new owner has some pics up, he is dropbottom on ssm. Still looks great.

Just the ones on MT siteI had a harddrive crash a few years ago and lost everything, all the fun pictures, all the pics of it banana yellow, everything. S'ok. I like my new truck about a thousand times better. Its more fun in primer and facked up; plus its got more cool mods and less "wish I'da done that" stuff.
The new owner has some pics up, he is dropbottom on ssm. Still looks great.
