I have no brakes...

Well, my truck has been sitting since May. I finally got it bagged but I now I have no brakes. The petal goes straight to the floor and then the brakes grab. We bled them but it did not help, and it has vacuum. Now pressure does return to the petal when we mash that nipple thing on the bottom of the lines running next to the booster, a pressure regulator of sorts. The shoes are good and we spooned the shoes in the back a few clicks, after all of this, nothing! What else is there to do before Midas rapes me?

is pumping the brake helping? i had the same problem in my b series, and i had to replace the master cylinder.

if you opened any brake lines you have to bleed them. if you let you master cylinder run dry then your gonna have to get fluid in there. most of the time when i do brakes i just let them gravity bleed. i will open the 2 front bleeders and just let the fluid drip out for a while. then i will do the same thing for the back. just MAKE SURE you keep fluid in the master at all times! once those bleed for 10-15 minutes ill go back and bleed each wheel starting at the wheel furthest from the master cylinder. Hope this helps any....dont take ANYTHING to midas EVER.

i had the same problem, i replaced the booster, and master, it ended up being the proportoning valve thats right beside the master

well, the problem turned out that I'm a dumb ass sometimes and instead of using the bleeders in the front i was using were the fluid goes in at. Stopping is fun however...
