Difference between 2600i hood and 2000 or 2200 hood..

wut the fuck is the difference i see all these guys sayin "Got the 2600i hood " well.. i have a 2600i ..and my freind has a 2000 hoods are exactly the same...so wuts the difference????

the 2600i has a bubble in the middle to clear the FI. the 2000 and 2200 does not have said bubble

oh, and yes that is a mazda, has a yota grille and light assembly on it. it was the first good shot of the hood bubble that i came across

The first year of the 2600i - 1990 I believe didnt have a bubble in the hood. I had a 2600i I bought new and it didnt have one, but I believe the following year 1991 and later had the bubble, so that is why you might see a non bubbled 2600i - Brent

a 2600 also has a different engine layout. my sheet metal came from a 2600. for those that have messed with a 2600i truck, is the bubble for clearance or is it just cosmetic?

costmetic..it saysd to clea the fuel injection or wutever but i have a 2.6 fuel injected in my truck with no clearance issues its fully cosmetic in my eyes
