window cranks??

how do u remove the window cranks on a 97 s10? tryin to replace my door speakers... also my headliner is tweeded and it has some brown spots in it kinda looks like where the glue has come through.. what should i use to get it clean

take off the little u shaped washer

whats the best way to get to it?

i always used a screw driver and plyers (easy to lose washer)....they sell a tool at autozone just for it tho...

use a rag, wrap it around the clip and pull. works every time.

Also, auto parts store have a specially designed tool to get em out too, should only be a few bucks if you plan on doing it a lot with stereo installs. Makes it real easy to put on and take off the clips.

ya, we used to use a special tool at the audio install place i worked at. but you could use 2 small scraper tools to push it out. sometimes even flathead screwdrivers.

I have the tool to remove the clips, But a rag works better.
