you can get a torsion mount kit from suicidedoors or lots of other places.. of course its not bolt in but its alot easier to do than some other trucks!

the basic concept is the same on all torsion minis, but mazdas are a little different.. like measurements/placement/shapes of brackets you cut.. etc. I put up alot of pics of my yota front brackets, they could give you the basic idea until you or I can find you some better mazda specific pics.

Click HERE and goto The Shop

I'll be looking for you some pics, good luck man.

to lay on escalades, your gonna have to a lot of fabbing especially if you want to use stock control arms and no drop spindles. don't get suicide doors torsion kit. its way to big, probably designed for a full size silverado, and has absolutely no ajustability. your also gonna have to cut our innerfenders, just be prepared to spend more time on it than anticipated.

um how about if i get drop spindals and flip the ball joints, i dont really want to cut out the inner fenders, and at this point its ok for me if i dont get the frame all the way on the ground right now, i just wanna know everything, i saw the front mount brackets at airbagit.com and i was wondering if i should get those? so just weld those on and relocate the shocks, is that it, i take out the torsions right? im so confused i just need some one to tell me everything, and where i can get the right stuff to do it the easiest

Your eskies will barely tuck. Drop spindles push the wheel out about an inch. I had 4x4 fenders and a body drop, and my eskies were damn close at anything usder full lift.

then you will rub. A lot. you need the inner fenders cut slightly or turning will be a rubbing chore.

Do it right the first time, or dont do it. If you set the truck up to not lay out, when you eventually want to make it lay out (which will be later the same week) you will do MORE work to fix what you should have done in the first place than if you had done it from the start.

If you want easy, buy an S10. Bagging the front of a mazda takes about a weekend to do if you have never done it before. You will need to cut off all the bumpstops, trim the shock tower almost even with the top of the frame, clearance the lower arm ( a LOT ) Yes remove the torsions, tack a 3 inch spacer between the upper and lower mounts (the size of the squished bag) and jack the control arm up so the bottom of the wheel is level with the frame. Then tack it together, make sure there is clearance for the bag and that the truck will lay out, then finish weld it. Repeat for the other side.

If you are squeamish at all, or still want to halfway it, you should pay a shop to do it for you. It will be cheaper in the long run.

Look though the profiles on here, there are lots of bag pictures. Its not rocket science, anyone CAN do it, but only a few first timers do it right.

I did mine right the first time. You will have to get rid of some of those inner finder wells though. I have 16" Z71's and they rub a little when its laid out. I even hammered the piss out of themto raise them up. I have some really good pics though, I'll have to find them...

where are you located at? do you know anyone that has bagge a mazda? if so let that person do it. you want easy? aim or chassis tech makes a bolt in kit, you cant get easier than that.
1. you want cheap
2. you dont want to lay
3. you dont want to fabricate
4. you dont already have spindles
5. you called your wheels "askies"

baggin a mini is almost as easy as swapping fenders, or changin a bed, if your asking all these "simple" questions, you prolly dont want to touch your truck, you have to weld the kits to your frame, which meens you have to have good welding skills, or your truck will be unsafe. im not tryin to make you look bad, or talk down to you, we all were there once, just have someone do it for you the first time. and finally, any company out there makes a kit that works great. they are all the same, a 4x6 chunk of 1/4 steel, couple of gussets, and a bottom mount for your control arm. the cost like 50 bucks nowadays. do your self a favor, buy spindles, flip your lower ball joint, cut out your fenders, and then bag it. you will be much happier. dont do it half way. do you want to cut off your bag mounts, and re buy them and have them rewelded back on again, because the guy who welded them on had no idea where to weld them on correctly because your front tires couldnt be measured correclty becasue you still have stock innner fender wells? do it righ one time.. the first time

look at my profile i might have some pics to help u out. the first time i did it the side of my frame ripped so theres pics of that and pics done the right way. the thing i wound do (because bracket location is the key importance) is put ur rims that you'll b using, flipp lower ball joint, might have to trim out a little of the lower arm (up where it bolts to the frame) so it can travel up higher, and some say theres tricks with the upper ball joint too but i dont know much on that, drill out a hole in the bottom of lower arm so u can bolt the bag to it. get that all done bag in place compress bag all the way and raise your suspention all the way up till u think its high enough too lay frame and c where ur upper bag bracket will have to b placed on the frame. mines a little bit above center of frame and reinforced. i have no probs. i hope i didnt confuse u more than what u already r i just couldnt figure out how to say it so that u could under stand. ill help find pics for u. good luck bro!!!! later
