cool thread... only argument i have, is just about every truck mentioned or posted so far... has been built by a shop where "professionals" built it.... if i had the $ or sponsorships to have my shit built by kustomwerks or grant kustoms, i probably would take it there... beings as tho i live in bumfuck north dakota, and im not rich but spend every dime on my truck,i dont have the opportunity to have a "shop-built" quality ride, basically what it seems like is that ive wasted over 3 years on my truck and ill bet 80% of this community will feel the same about their own vehicle because everything shaved wasnt metal finished,r u kidding, not even all of the famous hot rodders finish EVERYTHING in metal.... dont get me wrong im not hatin on any of those trucks because like u have said, they are so far the best of the best without a doubt, but c'mon man, your sayin that to have "true show quality" that there shouldnt be 1 inch of body filler on the entire body and should have a crazy engine swap to keep the motor under the hood..... let the hating begin.... and johnny, im with u on this one buddy !
agreed
GARAGE BUILT SO IM TAKIN A BOW BITZS
^^^ defiently take a bow for that one
What it all comes down to is taking your time and taking pride in your work. I find that most hack jobs are quick jobs. If more people took there time and took pride in what they do we would see alot less hack jobs out there.

I agree, half the people I know, just need it done quick, and say there going to redo it later! ofcourse they never do intill it breaks, then its temperary agin!
Been workin on re-doing mine since March and it is just now getting to where it's driveable again. Might not be "true show quality" but it will definitely turn heads for a home built project.Chris
If you've put any time or money into your truck even if all you've done in bolt on rims at stock heigh or just some tail light's take your bow
Now if you drag body I'll bow for you
I'm still looking for the line where something turns from nice to ugly.
I'm still looking for the line where something turns from show quality to just another truck.
I'm still looking for the line where something turns from not enough done to it to way too much done to it.
I'm also still looking for the line where something turns from outdated to overdone.
BUILT IT IN THE DAMN DRIVEWAY!!!! THING WON'T EVEN FIT IN MOST GARAGES!
