Datsun 1600

Hey I might be buying this truck. Is it worth 300 bucks? Any one got pics of some all done up. The guy doesn't know much about it but it has a bad piston.The only dent is a small one on the roof

I'm pretty sure it's a 1600 it was kinda dark tho so it was hard to tell.he said he thinks it is a 71. Any one

i didnt think there was a 1600 truck.i know only of a 1200 and the 620.your picture didnt show upif u feel like a teardown rebuild go for it, i bought my truck with no bed, blown gearbox and about a million other problems. took me 2 months to get it on the road but now its on road and taking shape.it can really annoy you but its cool when friends come over and go looks like a truck now

1600 is probably a reff to the cc of the engine. Datsun had a 320, first to be imported, a 520, 521, 620, 720 then the hardbody.

any idea whay year it is?

edit: damn, I just reread your second post, if it is a 71 it should be a 521. The 521's are sic. They look like the datsun 510 front with a bed on the back.

any one have a pic of one of these, Or any info on them. I also need to put an engine in it. What do you think i should use

this is one of my favorites, I saw this at DZ and have it up on my desktop as my wallpaperAs for what engine, hell, keep it datsun/nissan, you have a ton of option on what to do with it.
