driving a mini, long distance ?'s

i wanted to ask some folks who drive there minis long distance if you run sway bars. I rarly drive my truck on the freeway or highways but when i do, i get crazy body roll. I wondering if i put the sway bar back on would it cure this problem. help me out i want to drive my truck to some out of town shows.

i drive all over the country without a swaybar or excessive body roll, but i also have shocks at all 4 corners and a FBSS setup to isolate air transfer.

i have only 4 valves, and a 2link.. and i drive back and forth to club meets on the weekends.. about a 45 minute drive there.. with 30 minutes of it being around 70 mph.. then i also drove to spring fling, which was about an hour and a half drive and a little on the interstate even.. i dont really notice this bodyroll people mention, a few people told me bad idea to have 4 valves.. but it rides fine to me. it seems like the swaybar would help your problem, what rear setup do you have?

Driving long distances with a mini is no problem as long as its built right! I think as long as you have shocks and 8 valves that will def. improve your bodyroll issues! You don't need the swaybar if you have that...

ricky the reason you dont get bodyroll is cause your 2 link doesnt allow articulation for the rear end, thus the body cant move side to side, and for the guy askin the ?, you wont be able to run a swaybar and lay that s10 on 22s, it wont fit, 8 valves and shocks, i can take corners as fast as i want, and my truck only has minimal lean, beause like dave said there is no air transfer, just compression of the bag/shock.

exactly cris, youre not going to see much body roll with a 2 link because it doesnt allow any articulation of any kind.

i running 8 vavle and a reversed 4 link. i have shocks on the rear but none on front. maybe i should put them back on and see how goes it. what's your guys opinion on end to low end shock meaning performance right now i have auto zone cheapies

i dont know how far off my speedo is but i've only got the truck up to 55mph. the body roll got so bad i almost wrecked.

i liked my swaybar when i had stock control arms but i got tubulars with new bushings and they didnt need it. no shocks and 8 valves here
