Air tank problems

Today i was driving to the mall when i accidently hit my rear down switch on my switchbox w/ my elbow. The truck fell and i dragged the bolt right off my air tank before i could even raise it back up. So now my question is, what can i do to fix this problem w/out having to buy a new tank. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

by the bolt do u mean the hex plug? depending how bad it is either u can get it out with an easy out, or just weld up the hole, or u can drill through it now, and tap it for a smaller plug that'll fit in the plug lol

So can i just get the "hex plug" like at a ACE or home depot store? Do u know what size it is?

im sure you can find it at ACE...

get one of the allen/socket head plugs, look cleaner and if your tanks that close, could save it from hitting again lol. sucks that happened, you might wanna check into putting a safety switch onto your switchbox.. heres what I do:
