i tried a search but didnt see anything on this but my question is about my brakes on my mazda b2000. i push the brake pedal like 6 inches b4 it startes working then you have to push hard to stop someone said all mazdas are like that but i just wanted to ask someone on here and see cuz im clueless ive never had a truck with brakes like that?

it sounds like the brake master cylinder is bad because the same thing happend on my 89 mazda

do you have bags? if so the bag maybe pushing on the caliper. My truck would do that but only when I had the wheels turned right over and the bags fully inflated. Just an idea before you replace your M/C. I know I am not the only one on here that has had that problem

only the rear is bagged so thats not it
