i have to make this presentation in school about a career that i want to pursue. and of course, i chose minitruckin. so what i need to know is how you as a worker get paid for your work (piecework, salary, other)and what the starting and average pay is hourly and yearly. and if u don't mind letting me show ur trucks on my presentation, post some pix of it. thanx for the help.

mini-truckin is a career?

I thought it was a hobby.

now there are careers that are automotive related yes...

unless of course you want to work for mini-truckin' the magazine, in which case you need to be a journalist, or communications major.

sorry i'll make my self a little more self explanitory. How much do shops, like devious and and all of them, charge for bags. and what is the yearly income on a job like that, starting pay, etc.

you make 0.00 an hour to start.

you charge enough for bag jobs depending on what it is.

and you barely make it for a while.

Then after you get though the bullshit of working for kids who have no money and know nothing about this stuff, you finally make a name for yourself if you do good work. Then you make decent money, only because you hire a staff, have a huge building, and it runs itself... finally.

Basicly, there's no easy way to explain something like that. it all depends on your demographics, etc.

Good luck though.

You've pretty much hit the nail on the head, Jey... 'cept I really hope you don't think there are ANY businesses that run themselves. That's a fantasy!
