Axle Size..

im trying to buy the gen 2 bridge kit from suicide doors.. but it says pick you size.. from like 2-5 inches.. im guessing it means diameter of ur axle? ive got a 84 s-10 with a 2.8v6, and i have no idea its exact diameter of the axle for the bag mounts n shock mounts.. does anyone have any idea? (i know just go measure it, but the garage i keep my truck at isnt exactly around the corner, figured id search before i go over there just to come back home to order) thanks

call suicide, im sure the size question has nothing to do with your axle. there is no 2 inch axle tube (unless maybe you have a go-cart) and ive never seen a five inch tube.. most every axle out there is 3-4 inches in OD diamter.. i think the 2-5 meens how tall you want the brigde over the top of the axle when the bridge is installed. (so you can lay with 15's or 22's)

but i think most minis are 2.5" axle
and most fullsizes are 3.0"
not very sure but i think my dodge is like 3.5" and have no idea about duallys and etc.

2.75 axle size on S10's and most mini's

it's very close to a krylon spray paint can. dont know the exact diameter though.

welp.. i read something for notches on suicide, and they sed "pick ur axle diameter" and if im not mistaken (high schools been awhile) but u get ur circumferance, which is all the way around the axle and divide it by 3.14, and u get diameter...



my axle measured at 8" all the way around, so divided by PIE(3.14) is 2.54.. so i guess the answer is 2.5" for all u guys with s-10's doin over axle kits. thanks for the feedback tho

well my man, u were right.. suicide offers no 2.5 for the gen 2 bridge kit. 2.75 is the lowest option.. so ima take my chance. maybe i should call.. or maybe i should live on the edge. ha, thanks
