does anybody ever feel like their truck...

just out of curiosity , does anybody ever feel like their truck is jinxed? No matter what I do everytime I get in my noma something fuckin goes wrong. It seems like I always have to work on it and have to fix shit more than I get to enjoy it. I just had it painted and not being conceided but I think it is a good looking truck to be my first attempt at customizing anything. I dunno it just sucks because I am bummed out. I promised myself the last time I had to work on it that if 1 more thing went wrong, it was going in the yard with a for sale sign in the window. So sure enough I get in it to go to college this morning and it doesn't fucking start. So I jump it and get all the way to college and just to see if its anything serious i turn the key off and try to turn it back on and nothing. Not even a click. After driving all the way from my house with no stereo on or anything, the alternator should have charged the battery. So i get a jump from school to go to advance. then it died and i had to get them to jump it. Then, while they tested the battery (all they had were jumper cables on the battery) the whole truck dies for no reason. The battery doesnt keep the truck running so wtf. They told me they think i need a new battery and alternator so i said fuck it. I'm tired of putting so much shit into this fucking truck and i can't even enjoy having it. Sorry for the book but i had to vent.

i feel that way all the time, hahaha i think im just a pussy tho....my alternator just went out....shit happens, if ya dont want any probs...buy a stock honda or toyota and just drive it and nothing else

Dude I can't offer any help, I am in the exact same boat... Every time I turn around somthing is fucking up on my Kota. I am so sick of it sitting in the driveway Imobile waiting ffor me to get enough cash to fix it. Hell with selling it I am thinking about burning it and collecting the insurance money.... At least I am saving gas money.....

wow... sounds like me, only recently it seems like my daily is the jinxed one. my truck used to fuck up all the time and i had to fix this or that... so i buy a daily so shit wouldn't happen. buuuuut, i start drivin it and it breaks, so i'm back to drivin the truck around more then the car anyway, but nothing seems to go wrong with the truck now. then i move, leave the truck back home and now my dialy is still fuckin up on me left and right, i'm doin the same damn thing as you, slappin a for sale sign in the bitch and not lookin back...

i can drive it to hell and back and never a single problem
but if im going to a cruise night or something...bam something breaks at 7:59 right when the parts store closes

most recent would be....taillight wiring harness develops a short...easy fix...but it burns up the taillight switch... of course the parts store is closed...no cruising for me

carburetor float develops a hole in it and then cause the carburetor to dump gas everywhere and out of the overflow down in the motor causing it to floodout lol stupid stupid things

last cruise i bought bad gas lol......how dumb is that...but i still went cruising just with a stu stu stutter lol

That $400 ought to buy a new battery and alt for that thang easily.

not to change the subject, but what up with that cnc logo your doing for me? sorry to hear about the truck, flawless paint by the way. just get a new battery, if it keeps doing it then its your alternator, try to keep a positive head man, hey 250 on a battery and aternator isnt bad. maybe when you replace that it wont leave you with anymore headaches, my truck used to go wrong after wrong after wrong, you just have to keep fighting the uphill battle wioth MURPHY. read up on murphys law if you dont know what i mean. good luck and let me know about that logo. thanks matt. peace.

I built a 2-10 for a guy and I swear that thing was cursed. Everything no matter how small turned into a big deal. Freakin sucked. Good luck.

if it ran for a decent period of time, the alternator should be fine, if it wasn't putting out voltage it wouldn't run at all...
