I'm going to be putting colorado tails in my s10 and I just shaved my tails and I am going to be putting a cal combo in... will it be easier to install with the cal combo on or with it off? any input will be helpful

shouldnt make a difff, might need to be in depending on how wide the light is

With everything shaved, you would prolly want to install the cali combo first. My reasoning behind this is because it would be easier to mock up the taillights with everything welded in rather than try to fit a cali combo with the tail lights already in place. Just make sure that you make an area in the bed on each side cut out so that you can still get to the tail lights when there molded in.

That's my current dilema... I'm trying to figure out how to tie in the whole sheet metal bed thing while with holes to access the tail lights and still having it all look good. Thanks for the help.

You could make access panels to keep the flow of a sheetmetal bed and still be functionable for the lights....
