i would rather see no dragging then ten foot poles under minitrucks for dragging. Ive seen blocks and even balls done tastefully so as not to be sticking three feet into the ground when you lay out, however i still dont like them or agree with them. when i dragged my last truck it was always first frame then body when it was bd dropped. My new one will be the same.

I use blocks because they make a bright spark and you don't need to mess up your under side doing it. Well that, and my truck is about .5 of inch off the ground because of the tranny xmember. Also I like to keep them on because when someone thinks they can be an asshole and tailgate me just because I drive a mini-truck, I lay that bitch out and throw some sparks over him. That usually makes them back up.And I already know what some people are going to say, "That's why mini-trucks" have a bad name.." That may be PARTLY true or maybe not even a little but I'm not going to let some asshole ride all over me and not do nothing about it.Steve SoCal

i have drug frame, balls, and blocks, but never body ( although i would love to). but i just dont like to replace control arms and such. i see that it is much easier on me and the wallet if you put some 1 inch blocks on the truck rather than fuck some shit up. plus they throw better sparks. and to those who say that it looks stupid....it can be done tastefully. trailer balls dont last very long but leave hella marks and sparks, and yes, it minitruckin is about sparks among other things, its part of it.

once you get six balls heated up and throwig sparks 30 ft out and 100 back at 90 mph for six miles................nothing like it. and the balls only stick down 2 inches so after a little draggin your only an inch off the ground anyways.

to each his own though. whatever floats your boat.

you cant beat draggin body though, thats for damn sure

Since a lot of people seem to be down on blocks, I'm going to show mine off The rails are already really thing from dragging. The truck's my daily driver, and it's so much easier than having to replace and re-plate stuff all the time. I made them from a piece of 1/4" angle and a couple pieces of 1/4" plate that I welded together. It was about 1.5" tall when I started, and it gets shorter every day. Plus they can be taken on and off in less than 30 seconds depending on what I feel like.
