did the early 90's dakotas have a five bolt wheel pattern, cause i thought they were 6 x 4.5 but i was told i was wrong, just curious
Yes, 5x4.5...not exactly sure what year they switched to the 6 bolt, but I know my 96' had 6 bolt..
I'm thinking when they switched from the squared off front end they changed to 6-lug - '96 maybe?
i just tryed to sell some guy my wheels cause i knew the 96's were the same pattern so i just figured they all were. untill he told me that his was five bolt. i didnt know that
My dad had a 92 extended cab lowered on some 15" boyds it had 6 lug wheels Might be on the v8s only cause he had a 318 in his

they switched after the 91 model year, but the only thing that changed was the bolt pattern. That makes 5 lug swaps easy

thats exactly the info that i wanted to know it opens up to a world of wheels instead of the stupidest bolt pattern ever made
My Dad had a 92 V-6, it had the 6-lug. So 6 lug has been the pattern since atleast 92.
THEY CHANGED TO 6-LUG IN '91 87-90 IS 5-LUG
