I got some tiny leaks here and there that always seem to show up. when it gets super cold out I lose most of my air if not all of it. for that reason alone I won't have my truck on the road in the winter. just a pain in the ass waiting for air just to be able to drive my damn truck. that's if the valves aren't frozen. I'm pullin it off the road sometime near november and I got me a RWD cougar. should be interesting.

What does everyone think semi's do when it snows. I know i have seen them driving on the road. If you don't drive it in the winter, don't drive because of the ice and other drivers...not because your afraid your airbag will get cold.

So whats the final answer. Add air line Antifreeze? My truck will be finished in a few weeks. Its my daily. So i need to know here. I live in PA. We get a crapload of snow.

A lil bit of rubbing alcohol works pretty well. Make sure you run water trap and empty it all the time so the water in it doesn't freeze.
Drive the bitch and drag on some snowplows...

im thinkin the same as the other guy up there... im thinkin your a retard. what do you think every semi, bus, lincoln, cadilac, cement trucks, doesnt drive cause its freezing cold out? just drive your damn truck, and if it leaks fix the leak. think of this: do your tires every break cause its freezing? bags are just small tires..

What I just read about the airbrake antifreeze says that it should be used w/ a alchohol evaporator.... anybody know what this is and where to get em? is it necessary?

i work on semi's for a living, air brake antifreeze is good, rubbing alcohol works also, never heard of an alcohol evaporator. like someone else said, i'd be more afraid of ice and snow and salt than i would the actual temperature. just go to a truck stop or truck parts place and get the anti freeze, good luck
