Gas Prices.. WTF....

This was posted by a friend of mine on a local forum.
Well this could be the typical thread on any other site bitching about the high gas prices when I go to fill up My 3500HD, But it is not.
What else has increased do to high gas prices. Well this week our electric bill came in from AEP Electric and we were shocked to see it 3 times the normal number. We thought, damn AC, but when we compared last years usage to this years in the same month we were less this year! So we call AEP to get this for an Answer." Yes we have been forced to raise your rate from $1.16 per day to $3.60 per day, Because of the raising Gas prices." So I was Like WHAT? Lady I work at an electric Engineering company and I know that our electric comes from Coal, Water, Wind, and Fusion NOT crude oil Gas. so She was like yes sir but our service trucks run on gasoline and with the increasing gas prices we had to change our costs. Basically in the end I was fucked in the ass buy the gas company again! But this time it was third person through the electric company!
So whats next Groceries because of shipping? Or how bout Shipping I mean DHL, UPS and the USPS rates will have to go up eventually do to Gas right! Hell I know warner Cable will be calling me next to tell me my Cable bill is going up because of gas! The ball has started down the hill....Even if gas prices come down everything else will stay up! We are fucked.
I guess I am a 25 year old male pissed off at something I have no control over. And it is funny how it seems our government is ignoring the problem like it is no big deal! How many more years of republican control do we have? Christ!
Oh and If I hear us being compared to britan's $6 a gallon gas price again I will shoot them! Their mass transit system is 10 times better then our and this is the kicker How Bloody big is there Country!? the Size of Texas! LOL America is not greater europe. IN Europe if you drive for 8 hours you have crossed like 5 countries! If I drive for 8 Hours I am not even in florida yet! and possibly not even through 5 States! Man...WE are not the same! When was the last time you seen a huge SUV in and footage on the BBC...that right when the president was over there to visit! And how much is there money worth?...thats right more then ours!

interesting stuff u guys wrote... so all and all..... i wonder... what r we suppose to do about this? or what can we do... dyamn.... i dont even cruise anymore at nites when i want to get out of the house.... .
makes me wonder bout our jobs..... maybe everyone should goto work at Wal-Mart since theyre on every corner of the city and soon will rule the world.. then we could just skate to work? LOL
or... maybe i should start a horse farm!! yeah..... when it gets to the point peeps cant drive all the time... ill rent out Horses like car rentales!! ill be rich!! LOL.. just kiding..... but for real.... wondering if we are in a downfall? but then again .. im sure people in the great depresion time thought it was end of the world too back then.... so maybe its just a milestone for us? i dunno .. but guess im go'n to start keep'n my urine in jars now? LOL

Here it is at 2.71...I work right across the street from a gas station and every time I see that S.O.B. walk out with that damn stick I want to run over there and beat the living hell out of him. Supply and Demand is bullshit. Some jackass in a nice corporate office is lighting his cigars with hundred dollar bills, taking a helicopter to his own personal parking garage, hopping in his Hummer H1 and doing a smoke show out of there laughing the whole time...Do you know why....Because the MFer runs EXXON................

Ya know what gets me, about 14 years ago gas was about a buck ten for 92 octane and smokes were about 2 bucks. Now gas is double and smokes are double. I may have to quit smoking and driving. Is this a big conspiracy to get me to exercise? Cuz Im fuckin lazy.

$1,000 a WEEK on fuel? You mean $100? $1,000 a week on gas is ALOT OF DRIVING!!!! You'd be better off moving if you have to pay that much to get to work.

its 2.83 here in Westlake Village, CA but i guess its just cause they know everyones too fukn rich here.
I heard a rumor from more than just one person that SEPTEMBER 3RD is supposed to be a GAS PURCHASING BOYCOTT, and if everyone doesnt buy gas on that one day it is enough to drop gas prices. thats a rumor ive heard but it cant hurt to not buy it on that day if it means lower prices.
