Found out today my MOM was an 80's minitrucker lol

Heres an interesting story for ya since we have been talkin about minis of the past recently. I was workin on my truck today and my mom came out with a picture. The picture was her with her 1980 Plymouth Aero mini. It was lowered a little past the tires on 15" keystone classics wheels, black with gold airbrush and pinstripe work. It had molded flares, airdam, and a tube grille. She said my dad did all of the work except the paint which was done by a well known painter at the time known as Imperial. My dad had a 79' c10 lowered 7" with alot of primer spots where he had shaved some things. I had to share this because i felt like im carrying on a family tradition now as well. My parents have always helped me on my 94' and now i see why, its bringing the passion that they once had back. Ill post pics on day if my scanner ever works again.

Dude that's fucking awesome. My dad is interested in putting a nice air bag suspension and some nice wheels on his 65 GMC. We'll have to see if he actually follows through!

my dad was and still is a minitrucker back in 84 he had a datsan with a chop top it was lowered with a tilt bed..now he sports a 02 s10 bagged on 18s lol

not quite minitruckers anymore but my parents have nice rides. My dad has an 04 sierra 1500 crew cab on 20's with 475hp and my mom has an 04' envoy with 20's billet grille and full stereo.

i know this doenst fully fit with the parents as mini truckers but my mom used to street race my dad 74 charger when they were in highschool. my dad said he found out when people would come up to him at gas stations and tell him he was a bad ass racer. i thought that shit was hillarious

im sec gen mini trucker as well the only draw back is when my dad gets to the po box first and hides my mini truckin and street trucks in his room lol

My parents have always been into hot rods and stuff and my dad never understood the lowering stuff, and bags. But now my dad wants to build a bagged ride, i think it is so cool and can not wait to get home from iraq and start to work with him.
