302 ranger

does anyone know the company that offers the conversion kit with the motor mounts and all that good stuff?

ummmm i personaly have a 79 302 in my ranger and i custom made the motor mounts.....as far as buying a kit i dont know of any company that makes them...if u do come across a company that does can u let me know so that i can let others know if this topic comes up again

summit racing did have kits for v8 swaps into the ranger and broncoII

well i got bored and looked up for kits....this is an expensive kit but its got everything to do it properly i hope this will help u alot and have fun with the new 302 if she goes in it

Talk to the guys on rangerscene.com, there are a few guys on there that have done the 302 swap.

On my ranger i used a 85 lincoln cont. front frame section when i did the stock floor. It had factory bags wich i replaced with aftermarket. But as for the motor it came with a 302 so it was a straight bolt up to a 302. Also if u wanted u could use a mustang front clip which is the same as the lincoln. I have looked at other kits if you need any help just im me.

I ordered my motor mounts from summit racing and the worked out really good. but I set my motor on the frame long before I ever put the cab and bed on the frame.
