yeah but what if ur solinoid is messed up.thn tappn into it with a external power source will do no good..so how do i go about hookin up this back up cable to my door to open it??any info is great

Most good kits have a exterial switch for if the remote fails.For a battery power problem,a way to get power to eigther the battery or disbution block,or directly to one of the solenoids. The emergency cable is mechanical, & attaches to the door latch. Sorry for the book, no short way to explain this.

take a hood popper cable wrap it around the bar on the inside of your door that opens the door then clamp it and elictrical tape it to the bar so it doesnt scratch your window and lead it through the far end of your door and it should hang by the cab on the inside of your fender

I left my key hole on my driver side check my profile for pics. Its not really noticable.

thts what i want to know,the mechanical part,hookin up a cable to the rod and runnin it to the fender so all i hve to do is pull it and the door will open.just wonderin if anyone had done this
