tap into the wire right befor the solenoid and run a wire to some discreet location on your truck the attatch a set of quick disconnects or something similar the if all your shyte fails hook up 12 volts to your hidden wire and pop. also i believe a fully charged 9 volt will pop the smaller solenoinds.

Bubba Bilt Street Rod Parts, 2565936100) has a emergency cables for hoods & doors. I have one on the hood to get 12volts to the battery if dead, & one going on the drivers door. Can order through Street Rods by Michael 9316800010/www.srbymichael.com. Great product!

That's why you leave a inside latch,& weld the lock latching rod at unlock.

If I ever shave mine finally, I am going to locate a remote power box so that I can charge my battery or just ass enough power to get the door to pop. I never thought about being stuck inside though. Can't you still use the inside handle to open the door? Or do you have to disconnect it?

The kit I have on my truck and sell comes with back up wires. Its suggested you run them to the front bumper. All you have to do is tap the wires to a battery and your door opens...screw breaking windows.
