taillight tint (spary tint,, transparent black, smoke)

faster than summit, go to the hobby store and buy Testors window tint paint. Its for clear bodied RC cars. I have used it with awesome results on BMW taillights, and it never faded or cracked or chipped.

I did prep the surface with some 1000 grit wet paper, and did ONLY TWO LIGHT COATS. Otherwise it blocks too much light.

Using black or charcoal paint looks ok when unlit, but blotchy when lit. Its at the hobby store, like 3 bucks for a little can.

think this stuff would work ok on my tri color leds

mikewendt did it to his f-150, you might want to ask where he bought his tint spray, said it was meant for just that use.
