taillight tint (spary tint,, transparent black, smoke)

so its been around for years, pretty much went out in the 90's probably.. I need this for a specific project and can not find it anywhere local. I figured i might try home depot or lowes. I tried hobby lobby wallmart and autozone. You would think they would have the stuff. Anyone know where to get somethanks

ive seen alot of people just use normal limo tint or however dark you want it, lay it over just like you would a window, soapy water and squeegee the shit out of it....works good

sorry but tailight tint does not work the same.. it wil come off easy and not be a clean look...

I've done that before on another car.. edges start to peal.. I'm spraying a 3rd brakelight with it since the truck is black

why not just mix lots of clear with a little black and spary em. or you can get 'testors' transparent black.

mix up some clear yo then take some black paint and mix in the clear to tint the clear then spray ...

I could, but all my paint guns and even my airbrush just got stolen.. so im working with anything in a aresol can here..

why not just shave the third brake light..

gee i dunno maybe b/c i dont want to run around with primer spots until i can get it painted.. also the indication i said before that all my equiptment got stole might have something to do with it to.. i cant just go dume 2 grand on all new shit for one brake light.. looking for something quick to make this "clear" turned yellow light look a little better..
