minitrucks started the same way, going to the big truck and van shows. The only difference in fact is that the minitrucks soon overran the fullsize and it spawned a whole different set of classes at the shows.
So unless you get more cars at a minitruck show than minitrucks, you are either going to compete with the ricers or not compete. Look at Nopi Nats, almost all hondas/foci/ little FWD race cars now, used to be one of the big mini shows.

Nopi Nats was a big VW show that attracted Minis, and ricers eventually. Now that nopi has gone all rice, they pissed off all the Bug/Bus/Ghia/Misc owners so none of them ever came back.

son't build a vehicle with thousands of dollars and countless hours into it for a 20 dollar piece of plastic.......that's just plain dumb. if you don't like it for what it is and need recognition for it from someone else...............well........
